Fall Break: Tennessee Camping

As summer draws to a close and children here in Middle Tennessee prepare to return to school, parents can now turn their attention to the upcoming fall break for the next opportunity to explore with the family!

Having The Great Smoky Mountains so close to Nashville affords us a world renowned camping getaway each fall when the leaves begin to turn. One of our favorite camping resources, Campendium, put together a list of ‘8 Stunning Fall Camping Destinations in the U.S.’ It’s no surprise that the Great Smoky Mountains throughout Tennessee and North Carolina cracked that top eight ranking. Campendium notes that the fall foliage color change begins in mid-September at higher elevations, and continues turn in stages down to the lower elevations into November. Fall break in early October will be the perfect time to explore the beauty of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the surrounding areas throughout the Great Smoky Mountain Range!

Our fleet of RVs will book quickly for those first two weeks in October. Please call or email soon to reserve one of our new motorhomes for your family adventure this fall!
